Florida High School Basketball - Land O'Lakes crushes Gulf

(February 2, 2012: Land O'Lakes, FL 34638) Land O'Lakes Gators (Land O'Lakes, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL), 55-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Land O'Lakes upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season. The Gators host Central (Brooksville, FL) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Central won 58-41 in their recent non-league bout against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Ridgewood Rams (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Gulf will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 14-11 record after their 47-44 non-league loss to Apopka (Apopka, FL).
