Missouri High School Basketball - St. Francis Borgia holds off St. Mary's

(January 30, 2012: St. Louis, MO 64050) Fans at Monday's non-league test between the St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO) and the host St. Mary's Dragons (St. Louis, MO), witnessed St. Francis Borgia's basketball squad tip St. Mary's by a margin of 60-53.

The Knights (18-4) will now prepare for their test against DeSmet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, DeSmet Jesuit was tipped by Hazelwood Central (Florissant, MO), 67-54, in a non-league test.

The Dragons now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop DuBourg for a AAA test on Friday, February 3. St. Mary's will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 35-33 non-league win over Hancock (St. Louis, MO). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-11.
