Washington High School Basketball - Bellevue fells Sammamish
(February 1, 2012: Bellevue, WA 98005) Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Sammamish Totems (Bellevue, WA), 80-64 in a league bout.
With the victory, Bellevue upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA) to play the Islanders in a 2A/3A KingCo bout on Friday, February 3. The Islanders come into the bout with a record of 15-5. Mercer Island lost 42-33 in their recent league bout against Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA)
Next up, the Totems play the Interlake Saints (Bellevue, WA) in a 2A/3A KingCo bout, on Friday, February 3. Sammamish will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 74-69 league loss to Juanita (Kirkland, WA).
