Oregon High School Basketball - Roseburg can't hold off Grants Pass
(February 3, 2012: Grants Pass, OR 97526) The Grants Pass Cavemen basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Roseburg Indians to 40 in the Cavemen league victory on Friday.
The Cavemen now sport a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Crater for a 6A Southern Oregon contest on Tuesday, February 7. Grants Pass will meet a Comets team coming off a 62-49 league loss to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Comets record now stands at 6-12.
The Indians (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Medford (Medford, OR). The Panthers come into the 6A Southern Oregon contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, South Medford was nudged by North Medford (Medford, OR), 51-37, in a league contest.
