(September 2, 2011: Manson, IA 50563) In Friday's non-league match, the visiting St. Edmond Gaels football squad scored a good 40-13 victory over the Northwest Webster Cougars.
In their next game, the Gaels clash with the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a 2A District 7 match, on Saturday, September 10. St. Edmond will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Comets enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 42-14 non-league win over Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA).
