(November 14, 2008: Bay City, TX 77414) The Stafford Spartans (Stafford, TX) basketball felled the host Bay City Black Cats (Bay City, TX), 45-37 in Friday's non-league test.

The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX). The go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Magnolia West went down by Foster (Richmond, TX), 51-35, in a non-league test.

The Black Cats now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Foster for a non-league test on Saturday, November 15. Bay City will clash with a Falcon squad coming off a 50-45 non-league loss to Waller (Waller, TX). The Falcon record now stands at 3-2.
