Florida High School Basketball - Lehigh fells Braddock

(December 31, 2008: Lehigh Acres, FL 33971) Lehigh Lightning (Lehigh Acres, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Braddock Bulldogs (Miami, FL), 45-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lehigh upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Lightning host Baker (Cape Coral, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A District 15 bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Baker lost 58-57 in their recent non-league bout against Collier (Naples, FL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Columbus Explorers (Miami, FL) in a 6A District 15 bout, on Tuesday, January 6. Braddock will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Explorers come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 44-38 non-league loss to Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL).
