Colorado High School Basketball - ThunderRidge nudges Highlands Ranch

(February 10, 2012: Highlands Ranch, CO 80130) In Friday's league outing, the ThunderRidge Grizzlies (Highlands Ranch, CO) basketball squad edged the host Highlands Ranch Falcons (Highlands Ranch, CO), by a count of 47-42.

The Grizzlies (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Mustangs go into the 5A Continental outing with a 11-10 record. In their last outing, Ponderosa was tipped by Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO), 42-36, in a league outing.

The Falcons now hold a 18-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaparral for a 5A Continental outing on Tuesday, February 14. Highlands Ranch will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 74-67 league loss to Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-3.
