Kentucky High School Basketball - Ballard Memorial edges Warren East
(February 4, 2012: Barlow, KY 42024) In Saturday's non-league outing, the Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) basketball squad nipped the visiting Warren East Raiders (Bowling Green, KY), by a margin of 75-73.
The Bombers (10-13) will now prepare for their outing against Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Eagles go into the District 3 outing with a 17-10 record. In their last outing, Graves County got by Marshall County (Benton, KY), 63-60, in a non-league outing.
The Raiders now own a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they host South Warren for a District 14 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Warren East will clash with a squad coming off a 71-44 non-league win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY). The record now stands at 7-18.
