(January 17, 2012: Austin, TX 78730) The Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX) basketball nipped the host Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), 43-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Timberwolves (17-14) will now prepare for their test against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers go into the 4A Region IV District 25 test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Lake Travis nudged Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX), 53-33, in a league match.

With the defeat, Vandegrift moves to 17-12 on the year. The Vipers travel to Rouse (Leander, TX) to confront the Raiders in a 4A Region IV District 25 match on Friday, January 20. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 11-16. Rouse lost 59-32 in their recent league match against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX)
