Massachusetts High School Basketball - Methuen succumbs to Lowell
(December 13, 2011: Lowell, MA 01852) The Lowell Red Raiders topped the visiting Methuen Rangers basketball team by a final score of 59-48 in Tuesday's league game.
The Red Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA). The Raiders go into the Merrimack Valley - Large test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Central Catholic topped Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA), 48-29, in a non-league test.
The Rangers now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Andover for a Merrimack Valley - Large test on Friday, December 16. Methuen will clash with a Golden Warriors squad coming off a 81-57 non-league win over Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
