North Carolina High School Basketball - Cape Fear overwhelmed by Seventy-First
(December 13, 2011: Fayetteville, NC 28304) The Seventy-First Falcons basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Cape Fear Colts to 26 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hoke County for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Seventy-First will meet a Bucks team coming off a 43-36 non-league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 1-4.
The Colts (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans come into the 4A Mid-South contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Pine Forest trounced E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), 76-58, in a league contest.
