Connecticut High School Basketball - Canton topples Enfield
(January 24, 2012: Enfield, CT 06082) In Tuesday's league outing, the Canton Warriors (Canton, CT) basketball squad beat the host Enfield Raiders (Enfield, CT), by a count of 36-27.
The Warriors (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Granby Memorial (Granby, CT). The Bears go into the North Central Connecticut outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Granby Memorial gained a win over Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT), 53-48, in a league outing.
The Raiders now hold a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Avon for a North Central Connecticut challenge on Friday, January 27. Enfield will play a Falcons squad coming off a 59-44 league win over East Windsor (East Windsor, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 11-3.
