California High School Basketball - Roosevelt falls to Madera South

(February 9, 2012: Madera, CA 93637) The Madera South Stallions basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders to 29 in the Stallions league triumph on Thursday.

The Stallions now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fresno for a North Yosemite contest on Tuesday, February 14. Madera South will meet a Warriors team coming off a 71-26 league loss to Hoover (Fresno, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-11.

The Rough Riders (16-10) will now prepare for their contest against McLane (Fresno, CA). The Highlanders enter the North Yosemite contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, McLane ran past Reedley (Reedley, CA), 1-0, in a league contest.
