Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins thwarts Park Center

(January 27, 2012: Brooklyn Park, MN 55443) The Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) basketball felled the host Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN), 65-45 in Friday's non-league test.

The Royals (18-0) will now prepare for their test against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Eagles go into the Lake test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Eden Prairie defeated Edina (Edina, MN), 53-46, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Champlin Park for a Northwest Suburban test on Monday, January 30. Park Center will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 63-49 league win over Andover (Andover, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 12-8.
