Washington High School Basketball - Highline prevails Sammamish

(December 19, 2011: Burien, WA 98148) Highline Pirates (Burien, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sammamish Totems (Bellevue, WA), 65-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highline upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Pirates host Ingraham (Seattle, WA) to encounter the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Ingraham lost 57-33 in their recent league bout against Chief Sealth (Seattle, WA)

Next up, the Totems encounter the West Seattle Wildcats (Seattle, WA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Sammamish will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 42-21 non-league win over Seattle Lutheran (Seattle, WA).
