Texas High School Basketball - Farwell ripped by Sudan
(January 20, 2012: Sudan, TX 79371) The Sudan Hornets basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Farwell Steers to 27 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lubbock HomeSchool for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Sudan will confront a Titans team coming off a 61-43 non-league win over Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Titans record now stands at 21-12.
The Steers (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Olton (Olton, TX). The Mustangs enter the 1A-1 Region I District 5 contest with a 24-4 record. In their last contest, Olton trounced Bovina (Bovina, TX), 66-28, in a league contest.
