(November 11, 2011: Amarillo, TX 79109) The Amarillo Sandies basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Levelland Lobos to 36 in the Sandies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sandies now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Estacado for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 15. Amarillo will confront a Matadors team coming off a 59-28 non-league win over Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 2-0.

The Lobos (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Irvin was defeated by Cooper (Lubbock, TX), 56-46, in a non-league bout.
