Texas High School Basketball - Midway falls to Killeen

(January 27, 2012: Killeen, TX 76543) The Killeen Kangaroos basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Midway Panthers to 51 in the Kangaroos league triumph on Friday.

The Kangaroos now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host University for a 4A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Panthers (11-17) will now prepare for their contest against Waco (Waco, TX). The Lions enter the 4A Region I District 8 contest with a 12-15 record. In their last contest, Waco was knocked off by Stephenville (Stephenville, TX), 56-31, in a league bout.
