Game Summary

Florida High School Basketball - Land O'Lakes can't hold off Central

(December 4, 2008: Brooksville, FL 34613) The Central Bears basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Land O'Lakes Gators to 58 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgewood for a 5A District 7 contest on Tuesday, December 9. Central will meet a Rams team coming off a 59-45 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Rams record now stands at 4-2.

The Gators (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Wildcats enter the 5A District 7 contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Wesley Chapel nudged Sunlake (Land O'Lakes, FL), 61-13, in a non-league contest.
