New York High School Football - St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute beat Cardinal O'Hara
(October 8, 2011: Buffalo, NY 14223) The St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders football squad scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Cardinal O'Hara Hawks to 20 in the Marauders league victory on Saturday.
The Marauders now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steubenville for a non-league battle on Friday, October 14. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute will face a Big Red squad coming off a 35-20 non-league win over Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Big Red record now stands at 7-0.
Next up, the Hawks meet the Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin challenge, on Saturday, October 15. Cardinal O'Hara will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 50-7 non-league loss to Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY).
