Texas High School Basketball - Waxahachie trounces Red Oak
(December 6, 2011: Waxahachie, TX 75165) The Waxahachie Indians (Waxahachie, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Red Oak Hawks (Red Oak, TX), 65-32 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Forney (Forney, TX). The Jackrabbits go into the 4A Region II District 15 test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Forney was trounced by Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 72-45, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they host Terrell for a 4A Region II District 15 test on Friday, December 9. Red Oak will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 33-17 non-league win over North Garland (Garland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
