Virginia High School Softball - Westfield can't hold off Grassfield
(June 7, 2011: Chesapeake, VA 23323) The Grassfield Grizzlies softball team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Westfield Bulldogs to 3 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Grassfield improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Lee-Davis (Mechanicsville, VA) to clash with the Confederates in a non-league game on Friday, June 10. The Confederates come into the game with a record of 13-0. Lee-Davis won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Halifax County (South Boston, VA)
