Oregon High School Basketball - Roosevelt thwarts Hidden Valley
(December 17, 2011: Portland, OR 97203) The Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR) basketball felled the visiting Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR), 45-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Roughriders (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Seaside (Seaside, OR). The Seagulls go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Seaside defeated Astoria (Astoria, OR), 37-30, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogue River for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Hidden Valley will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 43-38 non-league win over Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Chieftains record now stands at 6-2.
