Arkansas High School Basketball - Gentry falls to Farmington
(December 15, 2011: Gentry, AR 72734) The Farmington Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Gentry Pioneers to 42 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntsville for a 5A West match on Tuesday, December 20. Farmington will confront a Eagles team coming off a 48-41 non-league loss to Greenland (Greenland, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Gentry moves to 1-6 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Pea Ridge (Pea Ridge, AR) to confront the Blackhawks in a 4A Region 1 match on Tuesday, January 3. The Blackhawks enter the match with a record of 3-7.
