(September 16, 2011: Sutton, WV 26601) The Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV) football defeated the host Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), 20-12 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV) in a Little Kanawha bout, on Friday, September 30. Ritchie County will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Roane County (Spencer, WV). The Raiders enter the Little Kanawha bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Roane County defeated Webster County (Upper Glade, WV), 23-14, in a non-league bout.
