Texas High School Basketball - Montwood holds off Clear Lake

(December 27, 2007: Houston, TX 77058) Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Clear Lake Falcons (Houston, TX), 49-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Montwood upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Andress (El Paso, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Andress won 70-66 in their recent non-league bout against Lee (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Falcons play the Lee Rebels (Midland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 28. Clear Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 70-66 non-league loss to Andress (El Paso, TX).
