Oregon High School Basketball - Sunset falls to Southridge
(January 25, 2012: Portland, OR 97229) The Southridge Skyhawks basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Sunset Apollos to 69 in the Skyhawks league triumph on Wednesday.
The Skyhawks now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westview for a 6A Metro contest on Friday, January 27. Southridge will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 81-56 league win over Beaverton (Beaverton, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.
The Apollos (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Crusaders enter the 6A Metro contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Jesuit ran past Aloha (Beaverton, OR), 67-25, in a league contest.
