(January 5, 2012: Fresno, CA 93704) Caruthers Blue Raiders (Caruthers, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Fresno Warriors (Fresno, CA), 57-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Caruthers upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Blue Raiders travel to Mendota (Mendota, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Aztecs come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Mendota won 52-38 in their recent non-league bout against Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Avenal Buccaneers (Avenal, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Fresno will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 60-34 non-league loss to Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA).
