Texas High School Basketball - Sudan holds off Whitharral

(December 16, 2011: Sudan, TX 79371) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sudan Hornets (Sudan, TX) and the visiting Whitharral Panthers (Whitharral, TX), saw Sudan's basketball squad hold off Whitharral by a count of 54-48.

With the victory, Sudan upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lubbock HomeSchool (Lubbock, TX) to play the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 10-8.

The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 43-41 non-league loss to Seagraves (Seagraves, TX).
