Texas High School Basketball - Guyer falls to Northwest

(January 17, 2012: Justin, TX 76247) The Northwest Texans basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Guyer Wildcats to 42 in the Texans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Texans now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fossil Ridge for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 20. Northwest will meet a Panthers team coming off a 0-0 league Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 14-6.

The Wildcats (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Cowboys enter the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Coppell ran past Saginaw (Saginaw, TX), 72-37, in a league contest.
