The Matadors (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Canyon nipped Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX), 61-48, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Austin LBJ for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 29. Akins will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 67-49 non-league loss to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-6.
