Texas High School Basketball - Clear Springs can't hold off Duncanville

(November 19, 2011: Duncanville, TX 75116) The Duncanville Panthers basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Clear Springs Chargers to 71 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowie for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Duncanville will meet a Volunteers team coming off a 51-42 non-league win over Temple (Temple, TX). The Volunteers record now stands at 5-1.

The Chargers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Alief Taylor (Houston, TX). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Alief Taylor was nudged by Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX), 51-29, in a non-league contest.
