(January 3, 2012: Knippa, TX 78870) The Falls City Beavers (Falls City, TX) basketball felled the host Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX), 54-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Beavers (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Pettus (Pettus, TX). The War Eagles go into the 1A-1 Region IV District 31 test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Pettus defeated Ganado (Ganado, TX), 50-36, in a non-league test.

The Crushers now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rocksprings for a 1A-2 Region IV District 31 test on Friday, January 6. Knippa will clash with a Angoras squad coming off a 42-35 non-league loss to Junction (Junction, TX). The Angoras record now stands at 4-2.
