(October 17, 2008: Leesburg, FL 34748) The First Academy Eagles football team (Leesburg, FL), was ripped 56-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes (Spring Hill, FL)

The Hurricanes (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL). The Falcons come into the Freelance challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Stephen's Episcopal trounced Carrollwood Day (Tampa, FL), 59-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Cambridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. First Academy will meet a Lancers team coming off a 49-0 non-league loss to Warner Christian (South Daytona, FL). The Lancers record now stands at 0-7.
