Arizona High School Basketball - Westwind Prep Academy thwarts Bourgade Catholic

(January 25, 2008: Phoenix, AZ 85017) The Westwind Prep Academy Warriors basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles to 57 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antelope for a 2A West contest on Tuesday, January 29. Westwind Prep Academy will meet a Rams team coming off a 49-35 league win over Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 6-9.

The Golden Eagles (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ). The Shamrocks enter the 2A West contest with a 13-12 record. In their last contest, Yuma Catholic was defeated by Phoenix Christian (Phoenix, AZ), 68-36, in a league contest.
