Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Wellesley edged by Braintree

(October 14, 2011: Wellesley, MA 02481) The Braintree Wamps held off the host Wellesley Raiders volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wamps now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookline for a Bay State - Carey test on Monday, October 17. Braintree will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Natick (Natick, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-1.

The Raiders (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Walpole (Walpole, MA). The Rebels enter the Bay State - Herget test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Walpole held off Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
