Texas High School Basketball - Hawkins ripped by Martins Mill
(January 20, 2012: Ben Wheeler, TX 75754) The Martins Mill Mustangs basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Hawkins Hawks to 41 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaPoynor for a 1A-1 Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, January 24.
The Hawks (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Wildcats enter the 1A-1 Region III District 20 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Big Sandy was routed by Cayuga (Cayuga, TX), 79-16, in a league contest.
