(December 13, 2011: Fulton, KY 42041) In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) basketball squad beat the host Fulton City Bulldogs (Fulton, KY), by a margin of 51-40.
The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lone Oak (Paducah, KY). The Purple Flash go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Lone Oak gained a win over Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY), 40-38, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fulton County for a District 1 bout on Friday, December 16. Fulton City will play a Pilots squad coming off a 73-23 non-league loss to Murray (Murray, KY). The Pilots record now stands at 1-6.
