(December 30, 2011: North Richland Hills, TX 76180) The Richland Rebels basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Plano West Wolves to 56 in the Rebels non-league victory on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a 5A Region I District 6 bout on Saturday, December 31. Richland will play a Panthers squad coming off a 49-39 non-league win over Klein (Klein, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-5.

Next up, the Wolves play the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Plano West will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 84-58 non-league win over Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX).
