California High School Basketball - Le Grand falls to Madera South

(December 21, 2011: Madera, CA 93637) The Madera South Stallions basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Le Grand Bulldogs to 35 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Stallions now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yosemite for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Madera South will confront a Badgers team coming off a 52-37 non-league loss to McLane (Fresno, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 5-4.

The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Redskins enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Chowchilla ran past Redwood (Visalia, CA), 60-51, in a non-league contest.
