(February 6, 2012: Las Vegas, NV 89144) Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), saw Palo Verde's basketball squad overcome Cheyenne by a count of 58-41.

With the victory, Palo Verde upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV) to play the Longhorns in a Sunset - Northwest challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. Legacy won 61-31 in their recent league challenge against Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Desert Shields play the Centennial Bulldogs (Las Vegas, NV) in a Sunset - Northwest challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Cheyenne will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 24-2 record after their 79-13 league win over Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV).
