(August 30, 2008: Encino, CA 91316) The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Crespi Celts (Encino, CA) and the visiting Northridge Knights (Layton, UT), observed Crespi's football squad defeat Northridge by a margin of 30-13.

In their next game, the Celts clash with the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 12. Crespi will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
