(January 20, 2012: Marble Falls, TX 78654) The Summit Christian Academy Eagles basketball team (Cedar Park, TX), was overwhelmed 83-14 in Friday's league battle with the host Faith Academy Flames (Marble Falls, TX)

The Flames now possess a 23-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hill Country Christian for a TAPPS 2A District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Faith Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 43-29 league loss to Our Lady of the Hills (Kerrville, TX). The Knights record now stands at 9-12.

The Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Trinity Catholic (Temple, TX). The Celtics come into the TAPPS 2A District 5 battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Holy Trinity Catholic was overwhelmed by Faith Academy (Marble Falls, TX), 74-50, in a league battle.
