Minnesota High School Basketball - Andover can't hold off St. Anthony Village
(December 30, 2011: Minneapolis, MN 55418) The St. Anthony Village Huskies basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Andover Huskies to 80 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. St. Anthony Village will meet a Teddies team coming off a 68-54 non-league loss to Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN). The Teddies record now stands at 6-6.
The Huskies (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Osseo (Osseo, MN). The Orioles enter the Northwest Suburban contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Osseo nudged St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN), 64-61, in a non-league contest.
