(April 20, 2009: New Port Richey, FL 34655) Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mitchell upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Springstead (Spring Hill, FL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 21. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 15-7. Springstead won 8-1 in their recent league test against Hernando (Brooksville, FL)

With the defeat, Pasco falls to 17-7 on the season.
