California High School Basketball - AGBU thwarts Pilibos

(January 25, 2012: Los Angeles, CA 90027) The AGBU Spartans (Pasadena, CA) basketball felled the host Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 54-45 in Wednesday's league test.

The Spartans (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Mesrobian (Pico Rivera, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Mesrobian went down by St. Monica Academy (Pasadena, CA), 44-34, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host New Community Jewish for a Westside test on Thursday, January 26. Pilibos will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 67-41 non-league loss to Yeshiva (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 11-5.
