West Virginia High School Basketball - Oak Hill thwarts Braxton County
(December 14, 2011: Oak Hill, WV 25901) The Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) basketball felled the visiting Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), 50-41 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Red Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Grizzlies go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Nicholas County defeated Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV), 58-42, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calhoun for a Little Kanawha - South test on Friday, December 16. Braxton County will clash with a Red Devils squad coming off a 55-39 league loss to Roane County (Spencer, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-3.
