Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Valley prevails Sierra Vista
(January 9, 2012: Las Vegas, NV 89147) Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV), 76-64 in a league bout.
With the win, Spring Valley upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Grizzlies host Moapa Valley (Overton, NV) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-14. Moapa Valley lost 78-44 in their recent league bout against Boulder City (Boulder City, NV)
Next up, the Mountain Lions play the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) in a Sunset - Southwest bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Sierra Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Gaels go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 84-38 league win over Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV).
