Missouri High School Basketball - Central prevails Scott County Central
(December 30, 2011: Cape Girardeau, MO 63703) Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Scott County Central Braves (Sikeston, MO), 81-67 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Northwest (House Springs, MO) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Northwest lost 69-56 in their recent non-league bout against Howell North (St. Charles, MO)
Next up, the Braves play the East Prairie Eagles (East Prairie, MO) in a Scott-Mississippi bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Scott County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
